PURPOSE: A coil box device for endless rolling enabling bypass rolling is provided which not only minimizes a temperature deviation between head and tail parts of a hot rolled strip but also solves non-matching of process manufacturing schedules during manufacturing of a thick hot rolled strip by on-line coiling the strip right before the finish rolling. CONSTITUTION: The coil box device for endless rolling enabling bypass rolling comprises three bender rolls(11) in which three bender rolls are swung so that a lower roll(17) is put on a rolling pass line(70) during bypass hot rolling; cradle rolls(12a,12b,12c) which are vertically movably installed so that they are driven on a line(60) during coiling, and they are moved to the rolling pass line(70) so as to act as a table roller during bypass hot rolling; a compartment shaped buffering soaking pit at the ceiling of which heating devices to be heated are equipped so as to maintain a certain temperature, at the lower part of which a coil car(14) is installed to move a hot rolled coil(10), and which is consisted of a refractory structure(21) made of a high temperature resistant material; and a coil car(14) installed so that it is moved to the buffering soaking pit through a passage gate after loading the hot rolled coil(10) on it in a coiler, wherein skin-pass mill is connected to the finish rolling mill in a straight line.
