<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a gap between two adjacent handrails. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a handrail including a handrail main body 7, and a cover 8 arranged on an end of the main body 7 in a manner slidable in a lengthwise direction of the main body 7. The cover 8 has a long hole 81b formed in one side surface thereof, which extends in the lengthwise direction of the main body 7. Further, the handrail main body 7 has a through hole 75 formed in one side surface thereof at a location opposed to the long hole 81b. After the cover 8 is adjusted with respect to its position in the lengthwise direction of the handrail main body 7, it is fixed to the handrail main body 7 by means of a male screw member 9 inserted into the long hole 81b and the through hole 75. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
