TSTD METHOD FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A TSTD(Time Switching Transmission Diversity) method for a mobile communication system is provided to distribute a transmission signal to multiple antennas by a time switching method and perform a transmission diversity function, in a transmission device of a base station having the multi-antennas. CONSTITUTION: A signal converter(611), a serial-to-parallel converter(613), multipliers(615,617), and a PN(Pseudo Noise) spreader(619) generate a transmission signal. A switch(621) outputs the transmission signal to at least two RF(Radio Frequency) transmitters in a predetermined time interval which is not overlapped. LPFs(Low Pass Filters)(623,625,627,629), multipliers(631,633,635,637), and adders(641,643) convert the transmission signal into RF signals of the RF transmitters, and transmit the RF signals through antennas.
