FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for continuous preparing isopropyl alcohol using as raw for synthesis of hydrogen peroxide, acetone, medicinal preparations and as a solvent in homes and technique. Method involves hydration of propylene fraction in the mole ratio water : propylene = (10-20) : 1 in the presence of strong acid sulfocation- exchange resin as a catalyst loaded by layers into column hydration reactor of shelf-type where reagents as liquid and gaseous phases pass through stationary layers of the catalyst at enhanced temperature and pressure. Part of water is fed into separate byside inlets by height of reactor and another part is fed in common with propylene fraction from upper part of reactor and the following separation of reaction products and recovery of propylene fraction into reactor. The constant amount of water is fed from upper part of reactor and temperature is regulated to prevent the temperature drop in the upper layer of catalyst above 5 C; in feeding water through by-side inlets into reactor the amount of water is regulated and each feeding so to prevent the temperature drop of lower layer of catalyst above 5 C. Additional mixing fed water, liquid reaction products and propylene fraction before each layer of catalyst is carried out and unreacted propylene fraction is recovered into reactor. Method provides elevating period of the catalyst working and, reduce formation of by- side products and to simplify the operation control. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 1 tbl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
