PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data imprinting device for camera capable of securing an optical path to be long while it is prevented from getting large in size. SOLUTION: The device has 1st and 2nd reflection mirrors 22 and 23. Light emitted from a light emitting part 20 is reflected by the mirror 22, and then reflected by the mirror 23, so that a liquid crystal cell 14 is irradiated with the resultant light. By reflecting the light by using the mirrors 22 and 23, the reflection direction of the light can be changed in two directions. Consequently, the optical path 27 can be set in a state where it is divided into several. Thus, even when each of the optical paths is short, the total length thereof can be secured to be long.
