PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating a liquid crystal display device, which forms a sealant having a uniform density to not only prevent a liquid crystal from being polluted in a bonding process but also facilitate a cell cutting process and to provide the liquid crystal display device fabricated by this method. SOLUTION: The method comprises a process for preparing a lower substrate 10 and an upper substrate 30, a process for giving an auxiliary UV-hardening sealant 70a to dummy areas on one of both substrates and next giving a main UV-hardening sealant 70b, a process for dropping the liquid crystal 50 onto one of both substrates, a process for bonding both substrates to each other, and process for radiating UV-rays to the substrates bonded to each other.
