PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion device which ensures strength and reduces noise. SOLUTION: A lid member 25 for blocking a recessed part 24 extendedly provided in the longitudinal direction on an outer peripheral face of a slider 20 is formed by laminating a resin material R and a metallic material M having smaller width than that of the resin material R.
