PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended carrying device utilizable for hanging and conveying a conveyed object especially a conveyed tabular object such as a truck for conveyance and a construction panel. SOLUTION: This suspended carrying device is provided with an elevator body 11 freely liftably hung by a traveling body 1 traveling and guided by a guide rail 3, a conveyed object supporting body 17 supported by the elevator body 11 and having a locking means 29 for holding the conveyed object, and a lifting driving means 12 for the elevator body 11. The conveyed object supporting body 17 is provided with a rotation drive means 21 journaled to the elevator body 11 rotatably around the horizontal axial center 20 parallel to the traveling direction of the traveling body 1 at almost central part of a right-and-left width direction when in a horizontal attitude, and switching the conveyed object supporting body 17 to a horizontal attitude or a vertical attitude.
