PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely lengthen the service life of a power supply line extending from a trolley. SOLUTION: In this carrying device, a trolley wire 14 is arranged along one rail 1 for guiding a carriage 3 to travel thereon, the trolley 15 contacting with the trolley wire 14 is installed in the carriage 3, and the carriage 3 is allowed to travel by electric power supplied via the trolley 15. The trolley 5 is arranged in a substantially central part of a wheel base interval L of the carriage 3. The trolley wire 14 is wired substantially along a moving locus E of the trolley 150.
