PURPOSE: A structure for supporting an inlet grill of a ceiling type air conditioner is provided to smooth rotation of the inlet grill. CONSTITUTION: An inlet grill(60) has a grill fixer(62) formed on one end thereof, bent to be L-shaped, and having a front end(63) formed to be rod-shaped so as to allow the inlet grill to be fixed to a front panel(50) to rotate. The grill fixer acts as a center of rotation of the inlet grill. A locking unit(66) is installed on the other end of the inlet grill to fix the inlet grill to the front panel when the inlet grill is closed. A fixing groove part(56) is formed on the front panel to allow the grill fixer to be fixed thereby. An elastic unit is placed to give elastic force to the grill fixer. The elastic unit is an elastic plate(80) having a convex part(81) and a concave part(82), and having one end fixed to the front panel with a coupling member(84) and a central part separated from the fixing groove part to attach the front end of the grill fixer to the fixing groove part as the suction grill rotate so as to keep the center of rotation of the suction grill, and to give elastic force to the grill fixer so as to keep the front end of the grill fixer in the fixing groove part when the suction grill is opened. |
