PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an APS camera whose shutter operation can be visually confirmed from the outside. SOLUTION: When a film cartridge 12 is not loaded in a cartridge chamber 11, the opening/closing operation of a shutter can be confirmed from the outside through a window 101a and a hole 103b for confirming the shutter operation provided on a camera body 101 and a pressing plate 103. When the film cartridge 12 is loaded in the cartridge chamber 11, the holes 101a and 103b for confirming the shutter operation provided on the camera body 101 and the pressing plate 103 are covered with a window cover 102.
