INLINE DEGASSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inline degassing apparatus for preventing adhesion of dross to a heater and further preventing the heater from being damaged, and improving heat efficiency and degassing effect of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The inline degassing apparatus includes a degassing process tank and a gas discharge means. The degassing process tank has an inlet and outlet, and continuously receives and stores a molten metal. The gas discharging means discharges inert gases and the like in bubble state into the molten metal stored in the degassing process tank to continuously eliminate solid solution gas or nonmetallic inclusions. The heater is dipped and supported in the molten metal, while being extended from the bottom side wall of the degassing process tank in nearly parallel to the tank floor. A plurality of baffle plates are provided in a vertical direction along an inner circumference of the bottom side wall. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
