PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet capable of improving sensitivity of a sensor for discharging water in a state of holding a water discharge member by a holding member, and capable of maintaining the sensor sensitivity over a long period without staining a sensor window by an act for separating by holding the water discharge member in the automatic faucet capable of separating the water discharge member from the holding member. SOLUTION: This automatic faucet has the water discharge member having a water discharge port part connected with a hot and cold water feeding hose, the holding member for detachably holding the water discharge member, an opening-closing valve connected to the hot and cold water feeding hose, and a proximity sensor arranged in the water discharge part for sending an opening- closing signal to the opening-closing valve by detecting the approach-separation of an object, and is characterized by adjacently arranging the water discharge part and the proximity sensor in the same installing hole arranged in the water discharge member.
