The invention relates to a device for cutting insulating material, especially mineral fiber insulating webs and/or mineral fiber insulating boards. The inventive device comprises a supporting body (1) and a clamping element (2) movably mounted on said supporting body (1), between which the insulating is clamped. The supporting body (1) and the clamping element (2) have a cuboid shape and are very thin at least compared to their length. The supporting body (1) has at least one straight cutting edge (5) and the clamping element (2) can be moved along guide elements (3) in a direction parallel to the supporting body (1). The invention provides a device that is simple and inexpensive to produce and that is also easy to use. |
