PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive footstep structure for a man conveyor by reducing the number of installed rails. SOLUTION: A groove hole is provided on the side of a footstep 10, and a driven shaft 16 supporting a following roller 9 is swingable along the groove hole. The following roller 9 is connected with the same footstep chain arranged on a driving side, and the following roller 9 travels on the same rail surface as the driving rail 5a in which a driving roller 8 rolls. An inclined roller 18 travels on a inclined rail 20 provided in the lower part of the footstep 10, so that the horizontal attitude of the footstep in an inclined part is maintained.
