PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk storage which allows an optical disk to be horizontally held during a manufacturing stage corresponding to a manufacturing process where loading of the disk is robotized, enables the disk to rise/fall according to opening/closing of a lid during a stage of using by a user, and further can prevent the disk from coming out and removing during both of the manufacturing stage and the using stage. SOLUTION: An optical disk holder 3 for detachably holding an outer periphery of the optical disk 2 is movable with respect to an engaging member 10 on which a base 5 of the holder is mounted. At a position where the optical disk holder moves toward a base end, a head portion of the holder comes away from a latch member 9, so that the head portion of the holder rises slantly upward and vertically moves with flexibility according to the opening/closing of the lid 7. At a position where the optical disk holder moves toward the head portion, the head portion of the holder is held by the latch member provided on a bottom of a storage case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
