PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat back with a pocket capable of facilitating the manufacturing of a metal die for a seat back body and simplifying the storage work of an elastic seal member. SOLUTION: The seat back body 20 is formed with a recess part 20a for the pocket 2a in its rear surface and an inner groove 20c and an outer groove 20b are formed along the edge of the recess part 20a. A packing 50 (an elastic seal member) is stored in the inner groove 20c. On the other hand, an outer edge part of a lid body 30 closing the recess part 20a is provided with an outer frame part (an outside projecting beam) 31 projecting toward the body 20 and an inside projecting beam 32 along the outer frame part 31. The outer frame part 31 is fitted in the outer groove 20b. The inside projecting beam 32 is fitted in the inner groove 20c and pushed against the packing 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
