PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a new-structure interlocked reclining mechanism having simple structure, easily installed to various types of chairs, and providing seating positions such as an erected seating posture, a general working posture, a resting posture, and a comfortable posture in favorable states from a viewpoint of human engineering. SOLUTION: A four-joint link mechanism is constituted by setting a seat plate member 12, a back plate member 14, a first connecting member 56, and a second connecting member 72 to four link members, and setting a first connecting shaft 40, a second connecting shaft 62, a third connecting shaft 78, and a forth connecting shaft 74 to four pivots. Either one of the first connecting member 56 or the second connecting member 72 is fixedly supported to a base 52, so that a seat surface 19 formed of the seat plate member 12 and a backrest surface 22 formed of the back plate member 14 are interlocked to each other and tilted.
