<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new fructosyl peptide oxidase which is useful as an enzyme for clinical diagnosis and has excellent physicochemical properties such as stability, etc., and to provide a method for producing the fructosyl peptide oxidase. <P>SOLUTION: The new fructosyl peptide oxidase has physicochemical properties useful as an enzyme for clinical diagnosis. The method for producing the new fructosyl peptide oxidase comprises culturing a microorganism capable of producing the oxidase and collecting the oxidase from the culture. The fructosyl peptide oxidase gene encodes the new fructosyl peptide oxidase. The recombinant DNA is obtained by inserting the gene into a vector DNA. The method for producing the new fructosyl peptide oxidase comprises culturing a transformant or a transductant containing the gene in a medium and collecting the new fructosyl peptide oxidase from the culture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
