<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhauster for a kitchen capable of responding to a layout having a heating device separated from a building wall. <P>SOLUTION: This exhauster 6 for the kitchen is provided with a hood 11 and an exhaust fan 12 and characterized in forming a space S in a lower part of a building wall W, attaching a rear surface 10a of a suspension storage box 10 thereto, and attaching the hood 11 in the front plate 14 of the suspension storage box 10 to dispose the hood 11 in the upper part of the heating device 3d separated from the building wall W. The suspension storage box 10 may have a frame 13 of frame members composed of metal materials. The suspension storage box 10 may incorporate the exhaust fan 12 in its inside. The suspension storage box 10 is provided with a front board 14 joinable to/separable from a fixing part 22 attached and fixed to the building wall W.
