PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the sequential forming of a part of simple shape. SOLUTION: A part 2 to be formed from a plate 1 has side walls 3-6, a top part 7 and a corner part 8. The side walls 3-6 and the top part 7 form a curved surface of simple shape. The bar-shaped pressing member 10 is moved along a line L in X-direction and a line M in Y-direction included in a plane V orthogonal to a contour line plane H at the part 2. A roller 11 is rotatably fitted to a distal end of the bar-shaped pressing member 10, and a curved surface of simple shape is plastically deformed with the width W at a time. The part 2 can be formed through the sequential forming by repeating the forming by shifting the roller 22 with the width W. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
