PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of safely cutting a flexible object such as a coil of plastic foaming sheet and plastic air bubble sheet by a cutter. SOLUTION: This cutting device is composed of a table 1 on which an object 9 to be cut is put, a fixing means for fixing the object to be cut on the table, the cutter 3 and its driving means, and a means for moving the table and the cutter relatively. The fixing means is composed of a check plate 2 on the table and a pressing device 4 for pressing the object to be cut against it. The pressing device 4 is provided with an L-shaped inclined back up frame 5, a flexible touch sensor 6 stretched at both ends of it, and a moving means 7 for letting the back up frame advance and retract.
