PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type concentrator capable of removing sludge remaining on an endless belt and decreasing the quantity of washing water used at this time. SOLUTION: The endless belt 5 having a wire mesh structure is set between a pair of pulleys 3, 4 and a transportation orbit 9 on which discharged sludge to be concentrated is transported from a leading part to an ending part and discharged and an orbit 10 which is located below the transportation orbit 9 and returns from the ending part to the leading part after the concentrated sludge is discharged are formed as the orbit of the endless belt 5. A water collecting receiving pan 16 for collecting the separated water A permeated and discharged through the endless belt 5 on the transportation orbit 9 from the sludge to be concentrated is provided between the transportation orbit 9 and the returning orbit 10. A water discharging port 17 for discharging the separated water A on the endless belt 5 on the returning orbit 10 from the upper side is provided in the bottom part of the water collecting receiving pan 16.
