PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of strain machining and a device of strain machining by which a productivity is improved. SOLUTION: A plurality of unit regions of an object to be machined 30, on which a plurality of unit regions 42 each of which is irradiated with a laser beam and to be strain-machined are arranged in line, are made advance into a measurable region 55 of a strain measurement device. The strain of the plurality of unit regions located in the measurable region 55 of the strain measurement device is measured. The plurality of unit regions 42 of which the strain is measured in a second process are successively irradiated with the laser beam by swinging the laser beam and the strain is given to the unit regions.
