PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the pullout of a filling material for fixing bristle bundles to a base board provided in the tip side of a handle. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for a brush 10, when a molding machine 70 fills the filling material 19 in a space in a rear surface filling recess part 16 dividing the rear surface side of the base board 11, after an erecting wall 15 of the rear surface filling recess part 16 in the base board 11 is fallen and deformed toward the inside of the recess part 16 by a press molding part 73 of the molding machine 70, the rear surface filling recess part 16 is filled with the filling material 19.
