FIELD EMISSION DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A field emission display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved productivity and reduce manufacturing costs by forming a cathode electrode, emitter, insulating layer and a gate electrode through a screen printing process. CONSTITUTION: A field emission display device comprises a cathode substrate(12) and an anode substrate(28) opposed to each other and sealed; cathode electrodes(16) arranged on the cathode substrate; an emitter(18) arranged on the cathode electrode so as to emit electrons; insulating layers(20) arranged in the direction vertical to the cathode electrode in such a manner that the space between the adjacent insulating layers serves as a gate hole for passage of the electrons emitted from the emitter; gate electrodes(22) arranged on the insulating layer in the direction same as the direction of the insulating layer; anode electrodes(24) arranged on the anode substrate; and a phosphor(26) arranged on the anode electrodes, and which emits light by the electrons emitted from the emitter.
