PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency input/output terminal having a hermitic seal which is shaped like a coplanar line with grounds, proper transmission characteristic with high frequency signal propagation modes arranged to reduce the reflection loss/insertion loss and a good bond strength of a dielectric board to a dielectric wall member. SOLUTION: The terminal comprises a lower ground conductor layer 3, a dielectric board 1 having a line conductor 4 and ground conductor layers 5 which is flush and disposed at both sides of the line conductor 4, and a dielectric wall member 2 bonded to the board 1 through the line conductor 4 and part of the conductor layer 5 which is flush with an top face ground conductor layer 6 formed on the member 2. The layers 5 have no-conductor regions 9 held between the board 1 and wall member 2, except the sides facing the line layer 4. In such a coplanar line structure the propagation modes of high frequency signals are arranged to reduce the reflection loss/insertion loss and enhance the bond of the hermetic seal. |
