PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that can automatically generate information for reference to information related to transmitted and received data from an arbitrary user's viewpoint and transmit the generated reference information to a receiving client, in an Internet service such as the WWW and e-mail. SOLUTION: A condition for extracting related information is prepared for every user (for example, an information sender and an information receiver), and a condition database is prepared for selective use by an information sender of the related information extraction condition for another user. For input data, the condition corresponding to the user of the data is acquired from the condition database, and according to the condition, reference information to be added to the data is generated and added. Transmission data with the reference information added is transmitted to the information receiver.
