PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, achieving a less number of data to be held and a reduced cost without marring control accuracy and requiring less data input and data searching proceedings. SOLUTION: The fuel injection device comprises various types of sensors, a control unit, and an injector. The control unit includes a basic injection amount computing means, a data map means for holding data which determines an adjustment correcting amount according to specified parameters, and a correction computing means using the data for correcting the basic fuel injection amount to find a fuel injection amount. The data map means includes a plurality of regions for holding the data, and the plurality of regions include an intermediate region between the two adjacent regions. The correction computing means includes map searching means S12 for computing interpolation data corresponding to the intermediate region through interpolation calculation based on the data for the two regions, which uses the interpolation data for correcting the basic fuel injection amount corresponding to the intermediate region.
