PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTC device which is equipped with an electrode superior in adhesion to a conductive composition, hardly increases in resistance even if it repeatedly performs a switching operation, and can be stably kept low in resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A plating layer is provided to each side of the conductive composition composed of a crystalline polymer matrix and a conductive filler, and then the conductive composition with the plating layers is hot-pressed into the PTC device.
