PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a fuse by which a connection part of a fuse element can be made thinner and a compact thin fuse can be attained. SOLUTION: The fuse element 6 is disposed on lead terminals 2, 3, then the fuse element 6 and the lead terminals 2, 3 are welded in such a state as a cooling plate 11 is brought into contact with the fuse excluding both ends of the fuse.
