The connection unit has a stripped (41) cable end (4) and a terminal connection. The connector has a spoke (3) which has a part screw thread and a ring nut (2) also partially threaded. There is a sloping section (32) on the screw section (30) and a conical part (31) producing a blind hole. The stripped cable is introduced into the blind hole then slid through the sloping section to be trapped between the two conical walls. A second blind hole and blockage (5) block the terminal element (62).
