Meter comprises: an ammeter for measurement of instantaneous current and generation of an image current (II(t)); and a voltmeter for measurement of instantaneous voltage and generation of an image voltage (VT(t)). The meter also comprises: a voltage generator (13)) for generation of a triangular periodical reference voltage (VREF), a calculation circuit (140) for determination of the imaged power (IP(t)); and a converter (150) for generation of a digital power signal representative of the imaged instantaneous power (IP(t)).
