<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a preamble signal length in a TDMA/TDD system to improve frame efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A gain control means 48 updates a control command value to be inputted to a gain variable amplifier 32 so as to turn, to an appropriate level, the input power level to an A/D converter 38 of gain adjustment signals from a subscriber station 40 to be a transmission origin, and stores the updated control command value into an address located inside a memory 50 and corresponding to the subscriber station 40 to be the transmission origin. The updated control command value stored into the memory 50 is set as the initial value of the control command value when the next radio signal is received from the same subscriber station 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
