DEVICE FOR PREPARING TOMOGRAM, METHOD FOR PREPARING TOMOGRAM, AND DEVICE FOR RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance diagnosis accuracy with respect to an area where radiopharmaceuticals concentrate. SOLUTION: An X-ray CT (computerized tomography) examination using a device 40 for radiographic examination, that is X-ray, CT, is performed for an examinee 35 halting breathing. A device 38 for preparing tomogram prepares a first tomogram based on an X-ray detection signal from a radiation detector 44 of the device 40. An X-ray CT examination using a device 1 for radiographic examination and a PET (position emission tomography) examination are carried out for the examinee 35 who is breathing. The device 38 prepares a second tomogram based on an X-ray detection signal from a radiation detector 4 of the device 1 and prepares a third tomogram based on aγ-ray detection signal from the detector 4. Corrective information is prepared based on the first and second tomograms. The third tomogram is corrected by using the corrective information. Because of this, the third tomogram can be corrected without being affected by swinging motion concurrent with breathing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
