PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a phase shiftθof an arriving radio wave sometimes exceeds the range of±πaccording to the arrival azimuth of the radio wave when performing azimuth detection of a high frequency by a large- size receiving antenna, and that ambiguity is generated in the azimuth calculated at that time. SOLUTION: In this azimuth detection device, cross spectrums are acquired relative to each received signal by each antenna constituting the receiving antenna part, and the arrival azimuth of the radio wave is determined based on the arrival time difference between the antennas. In the device, two conical spiral antennas 10, 11 are used for the receiving antenna part, and arranged so as to satisfy the inequality d/λ<0.5 (d: receiving antenna interval,λ: received radio wave wavelength) by bringing the center axis closer to the tip part side.
