The assembly consists of a first aluminium extrusion (9) with two main branches (11, 12) lying at right angles to one another and having one that co-operates with a fixed frame, and a second plastic extrusion (10) with projections (32, 33) that clip into the horizontal branch of the first extrusion. The second extrusion has a basically U-shaped cross section with a base (27) and two walls (28, 29) forming a channel (30) for the glazing panel (2), with the clip-on projections located on the outer wall.
