PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for keeping roundness of a collar included in a clutch and preventing the generation of abnormal noises in the rotation of the motor. SOLUTION: A collar that constitutes a clutch 20 is composed of a cylindrical part 31a, a flange 31b, and a plurality of projected parts 31d. The projected port 31d has a thickness larger than that of the flange 31b and are provided at intervals in a circumferential direction. Since the thickness of the flange 31b is smaller than that of the projected part 31d, the influence of distortion generated at the projected part 31d during the quenching of the collar 31 is reduced at the flange 31b, and hardly transmitted to the cylindrical part 31a. In addition, the projected parts 31b are formed at intervals (almost hexagonal form) in the circumferential direction, so the distortion of quenching can be dispersed almost equally in the circumferential direction.
