PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical lock for a window which can be used as an auxiliary lock for a crescent lock capable of preventing burglar regardless of the locking and unlocking of a crescent lock and also for definitely locking the window when going out or sleeping and also an alarm can be displayed when closing or locking of the window is forgotten. SOLUTION: The electrical lock for window comprises a linking member 2 linked to a hook member 3 installed to a window sash at the outer side, a drive device comprising a solenoid or the like, and a controller and is installed with a lock body 1 attached to an inner side window sash 1 and a remote control device. In a state where the closing of the window is detected, if a locking command signal is received, the control portion operates the solenoid or the like and the linking member 2 is operated to the locking state when the linking member 2 is in an unlocked state. When the linking member 2 is operated to the lock state, the locked state is detected, the locking operation signal is transmitted to a remote control device and the locking of the window is indicated on a display portion of the remote control device.
