<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more exactly decide whether a call can be received or not even when the generation timings of a plurality of user information are concentrated. <P>SOLUTION: A user information source 110 reports an average bit rate, the generation timing (phase) of user information and a generation interval when requesting the connection of a novel call. When requesting the connection of the novel call, a call reception deciding part 104 finds an effective bit rate dividing the product of the average bit rate and the generation interval with a maximum allowable transmission waiting time in a multiplex buffer for each generation timing (phase) of the user information, sends it to a phase/band management memory 105, adds the effective bit rate for each phase and compares the integrated value with the rate of a wired transmission line to decide whether the call can be received or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
