PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation bearing which is particularly suitable for using for seismic isolation of a bridge. SOLUTION: The seismic isolation bearing contains a lower plate 12, an upper plate 14, and a cylinder roller 16 which comes into rolling contact with a bearing face 18 in the upper direction of the lower plate and the bearing face 20 in the lower direction of the upper plate. Either or both of the bearing faces are inclined and a center trough is formed. A pair of sliding guides 32 deposited at both ends of the roller are engaged with an inner wall face of a side wall member to be fixed to the lower plate and impart frictional damping. A non-linear spring such as viscous elasticity or a viscous damper, a linear spring, and curing are provided between the lower plate and the upper plate, displacement of the bearing is reduced and scattering and losing of energy or a periodic operability of the bearing can be adjusted.
