<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power consumption management device that manages for reducing the electric power consumption of a data processing device independently of control exercised by a CPU for monitoring. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power consumption management device is comprised of: a detection means (50) that detects input request signals (15, 34) transmitted/ received between a specific data processing device and other device or acceptance signals (33, 41) corresponding to the input request signals; a judgement means (51) that makes a judgement whether or not specific processing is to be performed with the data processing device, based on the state of the data processing device and the detection result obtained by the detection means (50); and a supply control means (52) that controls on whether or not the data processing device is to be provided with a synchronization clock according to the judgement result obtained by the judgement means (51). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
