<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an alarm sound from a personal computer to be hard to be washed out by peripheral noise and to make it easily reach a user's ear. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm sound SC which is to be output is output from a speaker 6 in a state where the surrounding noise can be ignored, and sound component detected by a microphone 7 is stored to an alarm sound compensating sound component storing part 145 as an alarm sound compensating sound component SC'. The surrounding noise NC+SC' is detected by the microphone 7 is normal use and input to a processing device 14 through a sound board 16 and converted into peripheral sound erasing sound component NCinv+SV' inv of a reverse phase at the peripheral noise erasing sound component generating part 141. In the alarm sound outputting sound component generating part 142, surrounding noise erasing sound component NCinv+SC' inv and alarm sound compensating sound component SC' superposed on the alarm sound SC from an alarm sound selecting part 143 is generated as an alarm sound outputting sound component SC+NCinv.
