PUBLIC KEY INFRASTRUCTURE TOKEN ISSUANCE AND BINDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which tokens are issued and each token having a unique ID number stored therein and a unique user ID number in a directory/database of a certain organization can be bound. SOLUTION: The method for issuing tokens and binding identification numbers thereof includes providing a plurality of tokens each having the unique ID number stored therein. A unique public/private key pair is generated for each token and each token ID number and a corresponding public key are stored in the directory/database. Each private key is stored in its respective token and a unique ID number of a user is bound to a corresponding one of the plurality of tokens by storing the correspondence there between in the directory/database.
