<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a life of a mechanism for moving a tape guide member, and to improve transmission of driving force. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic recording/reproducing device 20 is provided with a pinch roller mechanism 42 to slide a magnetic tape into contact with a capstan 40. The slide contact pin 50b of the subarm 50 of the pinch roller mechanism 42 is separated from a cam portion 48d while a fan-like gear 50a is engaged with an intermittent gear 48c during the counterclockwise rotation of a cam gear 48. When the fan-like gear 50a of the subarm 50 is rotated to be separated from the intermittent gear 48c, the slide contact pin 50b is pressed in a clockwise direction while it is slid into contact with a small-diameter portion 48e, and then slid into contact with a slope portion 48f to reach a large-diameter portion 48g. Thus, abrasion by a cam is reduced to prolong the life, and the positional shifting of the pinch roller 54 caused by gear backlash is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
