PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that as the degree of a Latin square becomes large, variations of array elements concentrate on part of the Latin square even when creation is repeated and the major parts of array elements of an original Latin square and a new Latin square become the same and meaningless as keys. SOLUTION: It is judged whether the symbols of two elements on one diagonal among the symbols of four elements at intersections of two rows at a 1st row position I1 and a 2nd row position I2 and two columns at a 1st column position J1 and a 2nd column position J2 of an existent (n)th-order Latin square are equal (step S5). When so, it is judged whether the symbols of the two elements on the other diagonal among the four elements are equal (step S6). When it is judged that the symbols are equal, the symbols of the two elements on the one diagonal are replaced with the symbols of the two elements on the other diagonal (step S7).
