PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prepare an reply message to an input message including a plurality of matters. SOLUTION: When the plurality of matters are included in a received mail, a sentence structure analyzing part 12 analyzes a sentence structure of massages of the respective matters, and an extracting part 13 extracts characteristic information for respective matters. A forming part 15 forms pre-processed reply data including an answer template corresponding to the characteristic information on the respective matters in a received main unit, and stores the data in a data storage part 17. An operator selects desired received mail from a received mail summary formed by a summary making part 21 on the basis of the pre-processed reply data corresponding to all received mail. An editing data making part 22 forms editing data for editing reply mail on the basis of the pre-processed reply data corresponding to the selected received mail. An image screen displayed according to this editing data has a column for selecting-inputting an answer with respective plural matters included in the received mail, and the reply mail including a selected-inputted answer is sent back from a mail transfer part 23.
