<p>A photocatalyst comprising a titanium fluoride nitride represented by MeTi(IV)OaNbFc and obtained by doping either Ti(IV)OaNbFc of an anatase structure or Ti(IV)OaNbFc of a perovskite-anatase structure with at least one metal Me selected from the group consisting of alkalis and alkali metals (provided that b is 0.1 to 1, c is 0.1 to 1, and a is a value necessary for maintaining Ti(IV) and depends on b and c). This photocatalyst, which comprises the titanium fluoride nitride, is especially characterized by having deposited thereon at least one promoter selected from the group consisting of at least platinum, nickel, and palladium.</p> |
