<p>A pharmaceutical composition comprises a combination of (i) a bronchodilator selected from salbutamol and terbutaline, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts or derivatives thereof, and (ii) guaiphenesin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or derivative thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The pharmaceutical composition may further include an antihistamine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or derivative thereof. The pharmaceutical compositions are used in methods of providing symptomatic relief of cough and/or flu, in particular that associated with bronchoconstriction and mucous production.</p> |
