PURPOSE: An inverter circuit having a power-saving function is provided to select supply operational voltages and reduce the power consumption by using a PMOS transistor and an NMOS transistor having the small bandwidth and the long length in comparison with a normal transistor. CONSTITUTION: An inverter circuit having a power-saving function includes a first PMOS transistor(PM1), a second PMOS transistor(PM2), a first NMOS transistor(NM1), and a second NMOS transistor(NM2). The first PMOS transistor(PM1) and the first NMOS transistor(NM1) are serially connected to each other. The second PMOS transistor(PM2) and the second NMOS transistor(NM2) are serially connected to the first PMOS transistor(PM1) and the first NMOS transistor(NM1). The second PMOS transistor(PM2) and the second NMOS transistor(NM2) have the small bandwidth and the long length in comparison with a normal transistor. The first supply voltages(VCC',VSS') or the second supply voltages(VCC,VSS) are supplied to both ends of the first PMOS transistor(PM1) and the first NMOS transistor(NM1).
